This is the full version of ‘Steamin’ + Dreamin’ – The Grandmaster Cash Story’, the first project I directed, made on a budget of 200 Euros.

The film was conceived, shot and edited between March and August of 2009, and features appearances from Senator Dan Boyle and comedian Tommy Tiernan. It was accepted into the Corona Cork Film Festival, and had a sold-out screening at the Pavilion, Carey’s Lane. Due to the public demand for tickets, the Festival organizers put on another screening for the following night, which also sold out.

I also designed and authored a full special-edition DVD of the film, which included over four hours of special features; including interactive menus, commentaries, music videos, music tracks, interviews and extended scenes.

A DVD launch in December resulted in yet another sold-out screening, and sales (to date) of over 1000 DVDs. The film received extensive media coverage, including feature articles in many papers. It was also featured and received a very positive review on TG4′s media show, Imeall. It was also featured in Irish music magazine Hot Press.

Made for a college project in 2003, this short documentary uses interviews and reconstructions to look at the link between folklore and modern unexplained phenomenon (ufo’s etc) in Kerry, Ireland.

Here are some videos that we made to promote “Steamin + Dreamin: The Grandmaster Cash Story“, which featured Cash presenting his own film review show (a clip from one was used in the finished film). The opening titles were from an old college project.
